On Monday, June 13th, MLS players Mehdi Ballouchy (New York Red Bull), Jason Hernandez (San Jose Earthquakes), Logan Pause (Chicago Fire) and Michael Lahoud (Chivas USA) visited with patients at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN. The players serve as MLS W.O.R.K.S. ambassadors for the Goals for St. Jude program, which will kick off in September as part of Soccer Kicks Cancer, a League-wide initiative to raise awareness and funds for cancer research and treatment.
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® is one of the world’s premier pediatric cancer research centers. MLS W.O.R.K.S. and St. Jude have partnered to create the Goals for St. Jude program that turns MLS fans passion for soccer into hope for kids battling cancer and other deadly diseases.
