New York put some demons to rest tonight with a 2-1 win over New England at Red Bull Arena. Greg Sutton came up with a huge save of a Shalrie Joseph penalty try, and Thierry Henry gave the Red Bulls the full three points with his seventh goal of the year. We caught up with Hans Backe, Henry, Sutton, and Jan Gunnar Solli after the match to get their thoughts. Share YOUR thoughts in the comments section.

I Dont understand why Backe is playing Lindpere centrally and Ballouchy out wide, Lindpere is more effective out wide and Ballouchy is better centrally. AlsO, I dont understand why every one is all over Balloucy he has been good overall for us since he has arrived and he muffed a chance from Henry it happens, he played well overall last niht even tho he is playing out of position.

It there a legitimate player on trial?

I have always enjoyed your blog; but, your “trialist” joke is an insult to the fans. Did you get pleasure out of purposely disappointing fans that actually thought a real player might be coming to the team? You should apologize for this ill-advised attempt at humor that was really aimed at marketing your world-wide brand at the expense of the fans.

Agreed that was an insult to the teams supporters, very unprofessional to say the least, I don’t know who came up with this idea. Its ridiculous to say the least.

It was a joke? I can’t believe it. The funny part is the red bulls could actually use help. This left a sour taste in my mouth. Bad form.
