RED BULLS FALL AWAY TO CHIVAS DE GUADALAJARA

Despite goals from midfielder Dane Richards and forward Juan Agudelo, the New York Red Bulls ended their first preseason trip of the season in Mexico with a 3-2 loss over Chivas de Guadalajara at Omnilife Stadium Tuesday night. With the defeat, the Red Bulls dropped to 2-1-0 in New York head coach’s Hans Backe’s first MLS preseason loss of his career.

    Its not that bad considering chivas is already in their season and in season form. this teams still getting its pieces together and it looks great so far, once there tottaly fit (this is the first time they went more than 45 in the preseason) should be a dangerous team to play against. Marquez is a beast btw, and richards looks like hes continuing on the same form he ended off with…minus the ejection.

    ahhh man how i love and hate dane richards…..oneday he will score some clutch goals…next day he will play like shit and get some red cardss…hes gotta be more disciplined two stupid yellow cards…

    The first half Redbulls were so skillful with Richards with the first goal and an assist on the second. After seventy minutes they fell apart. So fustrating……………
