USA/SOUTH AFRICA VIEWING PARTY REVIEW

On Wednesday, November 17, 2010, the New York Red Bulls hosted a Viewing Party at Red Bull Arena for the friendly match between the US and South Africa in Cape Town.  The US won, 1-0, behind a goal from RBNY rookie Juan Agudelo.  NY rookie Tim Ream featured in the match as both players earned their first USMNT callup and cap.  New York legends Mike Petke and John Wolyniec, as well as assistant coach Richie Williams provided insight for those in attendance, and Petke and Williams shared their thoughts with us.

REMINDER: Red Bull Arena will be hosting a viewing party for the FIFA World CupTM 2018 and 2022 Host Nations Announcement on Thursday, Dec. 2 starting at 9:00 AM at the stadium’s Bulls’ Corner. In May, the USA Bid Committee submitted all of the signed government guarantees to FIFA as part of its bid to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup™ in the United States.
