RED BULLS AT REAL SALT LAKE: PREVIEW

The Red Bulls, minus Marquez, Coundoul, Richards, and Miller, invade Fortress Rio Tinto Saturday for a matchup with Real Salt Lake.  Though New York will be missing that quartet due to international duty, Hans Backe will still be able to call on Thierry Henry and Juan Pablo Angel to be the scoring threats for New York, and Joel Lindpere will also be available to help anchor the midfield.  We asked Backe, Lindpere, Henry and Danleigh Borman (who will fill in for Miller at left back) for their thoughts on the match.  Share YOUR thoughts in the comments section.

    GO RBNY!!!

Rafa will be missed, but the Red Bulls can handle it. Same as against Toronto, the Bulls will put a stop to the mormons current record.

Its gonna be hard for the Red Bulls to go into Real Salt Lake and pull out a victory with their key players missing. BUT, its possable they can win considering how hot the Bulls are! Lets go Get’em boys!

  10. Ron Says:

Is Danny Cepero really called-up for this game

  11. Chris Says:

I’m a little suprised Rafa would miss a club game with his new team for a friendly against Ecuador. Richards’ speed will be missed as well as Miller’s defense against a speedy Findley.
