HENRY AND RICHARDS EARN GOAL OF THE WEEK NOMINATIONS

Last week Rafa Marquez took home MLS AT&T Goal of the Week honors, and this week the Red Bulls have two nominees, Henry and Richards.  Dane’s goal was more dramatic, but Henry’s goal was his first in MLS for New York.  You can vote more than once a day (we have already voted several times) so pick your favorite goal from last week and cast your vote!

Voted for Thierry until it stopped me. Although Dane deserves this one just as much

  2. david Says:

i voted for both in a text and it looks like richards will win so red bulls take to goal of the week 2 in a row

  3. Dario Says:

    Dane must win.

Danes was a bad touch, it bounced off his shin. He did well when one on one with the keeper but was lucky to get in that situation. He Megged the defender without meaning to! Henry’s touch was class

Richard took on five players including the goal keeper and scored, vert stylelish. Henry made history and hitting the post earlier in the game. Its a toss up though, so long as NYRB gets the goal of the week that’s what counts.

    • Alex Says:

dane took on 2 defenders and the second one the ball hit his shin or he would have lost the ball. i give him his credit but you are way over exaggerating.

  6. Mike Says:

Dane def deserves this one, some how Freddy Montero is up by like 35 percent what is that?? It’s really frustrating that seattle has that many more fans than we do.

  7. rbfan Says:

neither of them deserve goal of the week. I thought goal of the week was supposed to be awarded to the most flashy and skillful goal. Danes was better than Henry’s in those categories, but Braun from Chivas and his header should take it all.
