The Red Bulls take on San Jose today at Red Bull Arena as New York looks to keep pace with Columbus in the Eastern Conference table.  The Red Bulls seek to return the favor to the Quakes, who handed New York its most lopsided defeat of the season, a 4-0 scoreline back in April.  Since then, the Red Bulls have added two DPs, while San Jose added one of their own recently in Geovanni, who will likely start the game on the bench for coach Frank Yallop.  New York Red Bulls:

Subs: Sutton, Petke, Kandji, Ibrahim, Ubiparipovic, Stammler, Borman

San Jose Earthquakes:

Subs: Horwath, Geovanni, Ring, Johnson, Jasseh, Beitashour, Sealy

  8. tommy w. Says:

Poor refereeing in the MLS is why American players are seen as being naive in the tackle in Europe.

  9. Eugene Says:

Great victory!! The team is looking great and I’m sorry to not have been in the stadium tonight, it would have been fun!

I’m excited that the first team is gelling and really looking like a top squad in MLS, plus the depth is also impressive and it appears we’ll have a top squad for years to come.

I’m hoping the silverware follows soon, it’s been too long.
