In a necessary roster move to create a spot for newly signed forward Thierry Henry, the club announced today that it has waived forward John Wolyniec.

“John is a true professional and a hard working player. We spoke to John about staying on with the club in another capacity but he expressed an interest in continuing on with his playing career. We wish him the best of luck in the future,” said Red Bull New York General Manager and Sporting Director Erik Soler.

We are also greatly appreciative of the time you spent interacting with the fans.
