ANGEL REACTS AFTER MLS ALL-STAR GAME

Despite falling to Manchester United, 5-2, on Wednesday night, Red Bulls forward Juan Pablo Angel made his third All-Star appearance and was the captain in the first half, playing 45 minutes. We caught up with him after the game for his thoughts on the match and we looked ahead to the match against Houston on Saturday:

    was super proud Angel was chosen captain! and as much as i would have loved to see Angel play with the second half subs i’m glad he didn’t – don’t need to tire him out!

    Honestly, the all-stars looked the best when Angel was on the field. He was a danger all night. He should have not been subbed until the final 15 minutes. Ching was good, too. But Angel had vision all over the final third. So proud!

    Angel im just glad ur ok. as much as i hate to say it i was relieved when u were subbed out at the half. id be so pissed if u had gotten injured before the dynamo game. we need you to support henry
