RED BULLS VS. CITY ISLANDERS: USOC PREVIEW

The Red Bulls travel to Harrisburg, PA tonight to battle Danny Cepero and the Harrisburg City Islanders in the Third Round of the US Open Cup.  The “Baby Bulls” have advanced to this point with three wins against MLS opponents, all at Red Bull Arena, but now must go on the road and face a USL side to move on.  Several players coming off injury are expected to play minutes, so this is a good test for their fitness as well as another test for the club’s reserves to prove their mettle and make their case for MLS minutes.  Head Coach Hans Backe, and players Conor Chinn and Luke Sassano preview the match. (There will be no live stream of the match, but we will be providing a running commentary here at Red Bulls Reader.)
