New York hosts rival New England Revolution tonight in a Lamar Hunt US Open Cup play-in match at Red Bull Arena.  The winner of this match will host the Colorado Rapids for the right to move into the tournament proper.  Both teams enter the match coming off losses, and will be looking to right the ship.  The Revolution add injury woes to their struggles, as New England traveled just 14 players (including two goalkeepers) for the match.   This match will also be a reunion of sorts for two different players, as Chris Albright sees his first action against his former team, and Khano Smith, who played for the Red Bulls (and initiated the Red Bulls tally against the Revs in the meeting at Giants Stadium) last season, will likely start the match on the back line for New England.  The game will also be live streamed on the video player, beginning at 7:55 PM ET (first kick is slated for 8:06 PM ET).

Wolly was awesome, Shep Messing made me laugh with the 85th minute comment about New England coach Nicholls using the whole bench including the bus driver. I started to picture the actor Jackie Gleasons character Ralph Kramden. Shep your the best, a true comical analysist. Keep up the good work Steve and Shep, over all a better performane by our N.Y. Redbulls. Good job guys, go New York Redbulls………………………
