RED BULLS AT EARTHQUAKES: PREVIEW

The Red Bulls will look to extend their franchise best start to the season on Saturday, when they travel to San Jose to take on the Earthquakes at Buck Shaw Stadium (10 PM ET, MSG, WADO; or go to the official Viewing Party).  New York is also looking for its fourth straight win as it currently sits atop the Eastern Conference table.  Heading into their third West Coast match of the young season, we caught up with head coach Hans Backe, and players Bouna Coundoul and Seth Stammler to get their thoughts on the match.

You can also view this preview as well as a look back at the Red Bulls’ Meet the Team Day event at Red Bull Arena, on the team’s official video player.

What are your thoughts on the match?  Do you see the team putting together another solid effort?  Who do you predict to be the Starting XI?  Share your thoughts in the comments section.

I agree. We should give that kid more minutes. He showed some skills on the minutes I saw him played again Philly…

So far, Backe has done nothing that would make me second guess him in terms of line-ups… so I’m not going to scream for anyone to play or not play 🙂

    GO BULLS

  4. Mike From Linden Says:

I agree but, I think we should give him more minutes in the open cup. Like start him, in place of Agudelo, and see what he can do
