DIEGO, JUVENTUS READY FOR RED BULL ARENA

Later this month, the Red Bulls will play host to a major European side for the first time when Italian Serie A powerhouse Juventus visits Red Bull Arena. The 27-time Italian champions from Turin have a worldwide following and are one of the most recognizable clubs in world soccer. It will be the first time that Red Bull Arena will host some of European soccer’s greatest players, as Juventus features Italian stars such as Alessandro Del Piero, among others,. Aside from their many Italian greats, Juventus has quality players from all over the world including France’s David Trezeguet, Mali’s Mohammed Sissoko, and Brazilians Amauri, and Diego.

While Juventus’ players have played in some of the most famous cathedrals of soccer across the globe, the prospect of playing in the best stadium in the United States is an exciting opportunity. Juventus midfielder Diego, who used to play for Brazilian club Santos, has heard nothing but positive things about the Red Bulls’ new palace.

please dont flirt with false advertising. i know you want to lure ppl from the iron bound in but Diego stands a good chance of making Brazil’s 23 man squad

    • christian Says:

i have to disagree.diego hasnt played for brazil in a long time, and when he did play he was unimpressive.i think he will need to have the best couple of games in his life for dunga to consider taking him.

      just my 2 cents

      • karbaz Says:

Christian is right, Dunga has his squad already, he’s had it for a while, no new faces for Brazil.

  2. Dario Says:

I watch Juventus/Diego play every week. And at Juventus, he does not have the right players around him to succeed. He needs a foward that is mobile and can come back and help out and work for him.

Diego is class, but he wont make the Brazilian NT. Juventus will spend 80 million euros this STM, so…if he does not have a good year next year he wont even play for Juventus.

if anyone is a Juventus fan you can go to my site at:
    http://www.beautifulsoccer.webs.com it is pure Juventus.

Alessandro Del Piero = legend. Just my 2 cents.

First time? They did mean RBA? We played Barcelona two years ago.

  5. Slayer Says:

Which of the juve stars are likely to actually be at this match and not with their national teams? I am trying to decide whether or not to go…

    • DS Says:

So do you support the Red Bulls or Juve?

Considering your statement, you can’t really support either very much if u can’t decide to go and support your team or not.

  6. NYC Sports Fan Says:

This is the roster of players who’ll be here from Juve when I asked about it a few days ago:

    Del Piero
    Trezeguet
    Diego
    Amauri
    Sissoko
    Zebina
    De Ceglie

    • Slayer Says:

Great thanks. Even though it’s just a friendly it is worth it. Gonna be tons of juve fans there.

  7. karbaz Says:

I can’t wait, got my tickets already, going with my bro and a good friend, man it’s going to be wild.
