The Eagles better make the final . . chances are they won’t, but a guy can hope.

    There goes the Kentucky bluegrass…

  3. keeper40 Says:

What are you thinking. There goes the pitch. Rugby tears up a pitch as bad as American football.

    • Red Bulls Reader Says:

With the team being off for the world cup, and with our expert team of grass-men, there should be no issue with the pitch when the club returns to action after the break. Rest assured.

  4. Kofix5 Says:

Though I have some faith in the grounds crew, I must tell you I am skepticthinLy first thought isthat renting the stadium to Rugby teams is a bad idea.
Some teams and stadiums are in England are suffering due to the quality of the pitch after these games
But if there is time for the grass to have the divets filled in and new sod patches laid then I guess it’s ok. As long as we are not Sharing the pitch with them.

    • Matt Says:

There are THREE WEEKS before our next home game. Relax. Man, our fans are always looking for new things to worry about.

  5. Tim F. Says:

Wouldn’t it be ironic if the CBA strike transpires and this resulted in the first games to be played at Red Bull Arena were rugby?

  6. Johnny Says:

It’s not just one game. It’s a freaking triple header!!! Throw in some rain and the grass is toast
