Can we please get at least some kind of update on the GM/coach situation? I understand wanting to play things close to the vest, but the silence from the club is deafening. After the horrendous season we just went through supporters of this club deserve to be told what is happening, or at least we should be given some sort of timetable.

Erik Soler has accepted the post as RBNY sporting director; the club is just waiting for the “paperwork to clear” Age Hareide apparently is coaching Viking; Richie may get the head coaching job yet….

      • Matt Says:

Yeah thanks. I just want some kind of official confirmation from the club. I was aware of the stories circulating on Solér. Don’t understand why the RBNY PR machine moves so slowly.

Erik Soler will be the new “GM”, here’s a wiki link on the guy http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erik_Sol%C3%A9r they just haven’t gotten his visa paperwork taken care of yet. Expect him to be in NY and announced as new head honcho within the next two weeks or so the rumors say.

Age Hareide was a rumored coaching candidate but he just took the job at Viking. The new rumor is Tony “Ifailedatportsmouth” Adams.

It sure would be nice to find out Halls injury status though.
