Midfielder/defender Jeremy Hall is one of 18 Generation adidas MLS players who will travel to South Africa on Nov. 27 for an 11-day postseason trip to South Africa. Hall and the team will play in three friendlies and participate in a variety of other events.

Hall, the Red Bulls’ 2009 Young Player of the Year, was drafted in the first round (11th overall) in the 2009 MLS SuperDraft out of the University of Maryland. Hall played 24 of 30 games, recording one assist, and was third on the team in minutes played (2,001).

The tentative schedule of the trip is as follows:

Nov. 27 – Depart United States

Nov. 30 – Friendly vs. Orlando Pirates Reserves/Visit Nelson Mandela’s House

Dec. 3 – Friendly vs. Opponent TBD

Dec. 4 – Attend the 2010 FIFA World Cup Draw

Dec. 5 – Opening of first FIFA Football for Hope Centre

Dec. 6 – Friendly vs. AJAX Cape Town Reserves

Dec. 7 – Depart South Africa
