In Red Bulls Readers’ ongoing effort to keep you, the supporters of the club, as up to date as possible with what is going on with the first team and beyond, we add Red Bulls Academy On Campus to our galaxy of stars.  With six players members of nationally ranked teams, the Academy products are translating the success they had in the Academy system to the collegiate level.  After the jump is the report for September 30-October 7.

Boston College :: Sacir Hot :: 9/30-10/07 :: the team went 0-2-0 on the week, losing to North Carolina State away 1-2 (2OT) and Yale (1-2) at home :: started both games this week for Boston College and recorded one shot against Yale.

University of Delaware :: Brandon Paul :: 9/30-10/07 :: the team 1-0-0 on the week with a win against James Madison (1-0) at home :: tallied five saves to earn his third collegiate shutout.

Fairfield University :: Matt Uy :: 9/307-10/07 :: the team went 1-0-0 on the week with a victory against New Hampshire (2-1) at home :: started and registered two shots with both being on goal.

Farleigh Dickinson University :: Jason Wells :: 9/30-10/07 :: the team went 0-2-0 for the week :: lost to Mount St. Mary’s at home (1-2) and Monmouth at home (0-1) :: started both of the games this week for FDU.

Georgetown University :: Kevin Finnegan :: 9/30-10/07 :: the team went 0-1-0 on the week, losing at University of Connecticut (0-1).

Hartwick College :: Steven Amaya :: 9/30-10/07 :: the team went 1-0-1 for the week :: defeated Northern Illinois (2-1) and tied Colgate (0-0) :: started both games for Hartwick.

Iona College :: Mario Rios :: 9/30-10/07 :: shutout NJIT 3-0 to move to 6-1-2 in all competitions this year and will begin conference play this week against Siena and Marist :: started at midfield for the Gaels and recorded three shots on goal.

University of Maryland :: Widner St. Cyr :: 9/30-10/07:: currently ranked #11 lost to #9 Duke 2-0 in Durham, NC but bounced back to beat Loyola (Chicago) 1-0 and have a match against ACC opponent Virginia Tech this week :: saw action this week and registered a shot on goal.

University of Maryland:: Matt Kassel :: 9/30-10/07 :: currently ranked #11 lost to #9 Duke 2-0 in Durham, NC but bounced back to beat Loyola (Chicago) 1-0 and have a match against ACC opponent Virginia Tech this week :: started both matches and had four shots with two on goal.

Monmouth University :: Anthony Vazquez :: 9/30-10/07 :: held on to the 10th spot nationally for the second week in a row and continued their undefeated run with a 0-0 draw to Sacred Heart followed by a 1-0 win away at Farleigh Dickinson, have upcoming games against St. Francis College and Long Island  :: started both games and contributed a few shots on goal.

Monmouth University :: Ryan Kinne :: 9/30-10/07 :: held on to the 10th spot nationally for the second week in a row and continued their undefeated run with a 0-0 draw to Sacred Heart followed by a 1-0 win away at Farleigh Dickinson, have upcoming games against St. Francis College and Long Island :: started both games and scored the game winning goal against Farleigh Dickinson.

Monmouth University :: Cesar Blacido :: 9/30-10/07 :: held on to the 10th spot nationally for the second week in a row and continued their undefeated run with a 0-0 draw to Sacred Heart followed by a 1-0 win away at Farleigh Dickinson, have upcoming games against St. Francis College and Long Island :: started both games this week.

Northwestern University :: Nick Gendron :: 9/30-10/07 :: moved to #21 nationally with a win this week at previously #15 ranked Ohio State 1-0 and look to continue up the charts with road games against Northern Illinois and Penn State.

NJIT :: Trevor Nye :: 9/30-10/07 :: started the week with a 3-0 loss to Iona but bounced back to earn a 1-0 victory over Long Island at the weekend, will face Longwood and Lehigh this week.

Rutgers University :: Sam Archer :: 9/30-10/07 :: lost to Syracuse 3-0, have road matches against Big East rivals  St. John’s and DePaul this week.

Rutgers University :: David McVane :: 9/30-10/07 :: lost to Syracuse 3-0, have road matches against Big East rivals  St. John’s and DePaul this week :: started the match and had two shots with one shot on goal.

St. Francis College :: Tevin Jackson :: 9/30-10/07 :: defeated Bryant 2-0 in their first conference match of the season and look to continue their success against Northeast Conference opponents Monmouth and Mount Saint Mary’s this week :: headed home the first goal of the game for the Terriers.

St. John’s University :: John Tardy :: 9/30-10/07 :: played a weekend 1-1 draw with conference rivals Villanova and have upcoming matches against conference opponents Rutgers and USF :: saw action in the match and had a shot on goal for the Red Storm.

St. John’s University :: Walter Hines :: 9/30-10/07 :: played a weekend 1-1 draw with conference rivals Villanova and have upcoming matches against conference opponents Rutgers and USF :: started against Villanova and registered a shot on goal.

St. John’s University :: Conor Lade :: 9/30-10/07 :: played a weekend 1-1 draw with conference rivals Villanova and have upcoming matches against conference opponents Rutgers and USF :: played 110 minutes on defense against Villanova.

Seton Hall University :: Jack Freeman :: 9/30-10/07 :: took a tough road loss at Notre Dame 2-1 as Notre Dame came from behind in the second half; have two home games this week against Georgetown and Marquette.

Seton Hall University :: Sam Petrone :: 9/30-10/07 :: took a tough road loss at Notre Dame 2-1 as Notre Dame came from behind in the second half; have two home games this week against Georgetown and Marquette.

Seton Hall University : Steven Rose :: 9/30-10/07 :: took a tough road loss at Notre Dame 2-1 as Notre Dame came from behind in the second half; have two home games this week against Georgetown and Marquette.

Seton Hall University :: Andrew Welker :: 9/30-10/07 :: took a tough road loss at Notre Dame 2-1 as Notre Dame came from behind in the second half; have two home games this week against Georgetown and Marquette :: started the game for the Pirates.

Seton Hall University :: Hayden Morris :: 9/30-10/07 :: took a tough road loss at Notre Dame 2-1 as Notre Dame came from behind in the second half; have two home games this week against Georgetown and Marquette.

Seton Hall University :: Adriano Gabriele :: 9/30-10/07 :: took a tough road loss at Notre Dame 2-1 as Notre Dame came from behind in the second half; have two home games this week against Georgetown and Marquette :: played 90 minutes and registered two shots.

Syracuse University :: Mark Brode :: 9/30-10/07 :: the Orange defeated Rutgers 3-0 this week and hope to get on a roll against Big East opponents Villanova and Louisville this week :: started at midfield for Syracuse.
