It’s that time of year again when fans will compete to become the 2009 Red Bulls Fan of The Year. To enter the Contest, follow the directions in the Official Rules and submit a video no longer than 1:00 minute in length on DVD or by a computer file explaining why you should be the Red Bulls Fan of the Year. The highest scoring video based on the judging criteria in the Official Rules will be named the 2009 Fan of The Year and will be recognized and introduced at this season’s final game on Saturday, October 24 when the New York Red Bulls take on Toronto FC.
All submissions must be received by Wednesday, October 12, 2009.

Red Bull Arena is not open yet. The first team doesn’t even play there.
Regarding the revs, their ownership group also owns Gillette Stadium, so it doesn’t cost anything for them to play there. It costs the team an incredible amount to rent out Giants Stadium for every game so there is no way they would spend that for an academy game which is viewed by a few hundred people at most.

From what I can see a lot of season ticket holders aren’t actually coming to matches, so I don’t think that counts as sticking around.

Grand prize is two tickets to a home game? Umm, fan of the year probably have season tickets already, can you give something else for the prize?
