While you’re getting ready for work tomorrow, check out Ch 4 WNBC in the 6:00 AM hour for a feature on Red Bull Arena.  Red Bull Managing Director Erik Stover gave a walking tour to morning show anchor Michael Gargiulo.  Then, on Tuesday afternoon, head over to MSG Plus for UEFA Champions League coverage, as Celtic takes on Arsenal at 2:30 PM and FC Sheriff takes on Olympiacos at 8:00 PM.

On Tuesday, August 25 at 8:00 PM, MSG Plus will air the second leg of the Red Bull Salzburg vs. Maccabi Haifa series.  This series has extra meaning to two RBNY players, as Ernst Oebster and Leo Krupnick played for the two sides, respectively.  Oebster noted to RBR that the two are going to get together to watch the match, and Krupnick weighed in with the opinion that Salzburg would have a difficult time getting any sort of result in Israel, particularly with the heat, humidity and the physical style Haifa employs.  The first leg of the series will be played on Wednesday, August 19 in Salzburg.

  4. Matt Says:

Why did we sign Leo Krupnick, how much is he earning, and did Jeff Agoos’ brother benefit financially from the signing?

It’s bad enough that we suck ass. To be corrupt and suck ass would be the cherry on the sundae.
