MONDAY TRAINING REPORT

Team went through a warmup of jogging/stretching exercises before doing some quick, high intensity runs.

Following warmup, the team did ball work in groups of four working  on touch. They worked on receiving the ball in the air, playing the ball off a volley, and passing/receiving in a close area.

The majority of practice consisted of 8 v 8 scrimmages , which had different
restrictions at various times. For example, at one point you could not play back to the keeper, you could only make forward passes, you could only play the ball on the ground, etc.

Team also worked on some 4v3 and 3 v 2 attacks with midfielders serving as
neutral players.

At what point in practice did the players realize that neither they nor the coaches where good enough, and that no amount of practice is going to change that? FIRE AGOOS and OSORIO and put someone competent in their place, sign former academy player vincenzo bernardo, matt kassell, and ex French international camel meriem, release boyens, Richards, and anyone else not pulling their weight in practice. There problem solved.

    Uh-oh

  3. emilio Says:

Did they fire the coach yet, thats all we care about, everything else is irrelevant and you are just wasting your time posting it. When you hear what we wanna hear let us know until than does it really matter, we have 2 wins, yes 2 all season.

  4. Mentz Says:

    FIRE OSORIO AND AGOOS!

  6. Sam Says:

Did they work on trying to put the ball in the net? or how about keeping it out of ours, that may be a good start…..oh yeah FIRE THE COACH!

  7. 505anthony Says:

What, no word on practicing that two-guys-to-take-a-corner thing? Can someone please explain this to me: why we need both Rojas and Celades to take a corner, when (and I’m just talking physiologically here) it only takes one one foot to kick the ball? Wouldn’t we be better served with one of the two mentioned above in the mix with the rest of the team competing for that corner kick in the box? Is the other player there to offer moral support? Is it a ruse meant to trick the opponent? It’s certainly tricking me. I mean, I’m not a RBNY coach or anything, so what would I know about. But I thought I’d ask.

    • Red Bulls Soccer Says:

Man, that pisses me off every time! They are shooting corner like its a free kick. Whats the purpose of that?

      • GeneralMSU3 Says:

Because they are tricking the other team. Will it be an in-swinger or an out-swinger???? Hmmm… tricky!!! Very clever from the genious Osorio. Let’s take another player away from an opportunity to score.

This guy is such an idiot!!!!

Can we please fire him already???!!! You don’t need to hire anyone else. We won’t care. You can still save the media hype of the new coach for the off-season. Just put this guy to pasture.

  8. Red Bulls Soccer Says:

FIRE OSORIO FIRE!!! FIRE OSORIO FIRE!!!

(sing to Seven Nation Army tune) at Chivas USA game

  9. Frog Says:

Better yet, Fire Osorio and Sell The Team.

    The experiment is over.

    • GeneralMSU3 Says:

  10. Big Jayy Says:

You guys reporting NYRB activity are dumb asses. Seriously, why can’t this team be like Seattle and let the fans decide when the GM should get fired. NYRB is the only lame ass MLS team to have a reader who post nothing but garbage.

  11. Big Jayy Says:

    Oh yeah..FIRE OSARIO!!!

  12. lou Says:

FIRE AGOOS AND OSORIO NOWWWWWW. Find some good players, and some good replacements. This shit has gone on long enough, we (the fans) deserve better, and it’s time that Red Bull listen’s to its supporters while they still have. If the FO and the idiots in austria care at all about this team and the people’s money they’ve been wasting these years, than act now and fix this garbage.

  13. Mike Says:

Finally we get some posts and absolutely no mention of the shameful management of the club or its woeful coach. FIRE OSORIO AND AGOOS! this is beyond embarrassing

  14. Mike from linden Says:

    FIRE OSORIO FIRE AGOOS
HEY RED BULL HERES A QUESTION FOR YOU AND YOUR HEAD COACH:
HOW DIDNT OSORIO FIND FREDY MONTERO BEFORE SEATTLE?
I THOUGHT OSORIO HAD CONNECTIONS IN SOUTH AMERICA. SO MUCH FOR HIS CONNECTIONS.
