On Saturday night, June 20, following the New York Red Bulls’ 1-1 draw with Seattle Sounders FC, the Red Bulls hosted the Third Annual Red Bull High School Cup.  The all-star game features the best of the best of high school seniors from the area.  This year, the Red Bulls expanded the reach of the game, including the top high school seniors from Connecticut and Pennsylvania along with New York and New Jersey.  The match was a hard fought, close affair, with the New York/Connecticut team ultimately grabbing the bragging rights over New Jersey/Pennsylvania, picking up the victory on penalty kicks after a 1-1 regulation score in a rainy mist at Giants Stadium.
