WOLYNIEC UP FOR GOAL OF THE WEEK

John Wolyniec’s late tally gave a 10-man Red Bull side a point against Houston Saturday night.  It was the Staten Island native’s first goal of the MLS season, and earned him a nomination for MLS’ Goal of the Week.  To view all the nominees and to cast your vote, CLICK HERE.   To see all the goals in one shot, check out the MLS YouTube page.

In RBR’s opinion (for what that’s worth), Woly’s goal is certainly one of the top three, with Rocha’s tally up there as well.  Do you agree?  Share your thoughts in the comments section, but be sure to vote via the link above.

    Hey RBR,

do you have a clip of Woly’s second shot (after his goal) where Kandji puts some sick moves on his defender? If the ball had not been blocked, that would have def been a goal of the week.

    Cheers

We need good old Wally for the full ninety, not the last ten minutes. Go N.Y. Redbulls. Let’s destroy Chicago Fire on Sunday.
