First and foremost, we are EXTREMELLY pleased to report that the webcam is back and operational!! (knock on wood) This is the last of the issues, we hope.
RBR was out at training today for a lively fitness and skill session with the boys. Mac Kandji participated in the full session, which bodes well for his selection for Saturday’s match with Colorado. The team did some general running, as well as skill work and a competitive small sided game that saw a lot of 1 v 1 action.
Training with the club this week are two Red Bull Academy players, Giorgi Chirgadze (who scored twice in the U17s win over Inter Milan)and Saint Cyr Widner. Its good to see some Academy guys get some run with the First Team. The youngsters looked ok, but obviously a little overmatched at times.
Also at training today (though a non-participant) was Dave van den Bergh. Dave’s surgery was successful, and although he is still in a little pain (which should be expected), he was in good spirits and was happy that he was able to see his family (and possibly an Ajax game) while in Europe. RBR wishes Dave a speedy recovery!!
Here is a gallery from today’s session, featuring Kandji, Chirgadz, Widner, and van den Bergh.

Somebody please get Johnny Ex signed to a contract ASAP, I’d hate to see him playing for a random college-like team in Belgium when he admits wanted to play here.
