On Tuesday, April 14, the last piece of structural steel was secured into place at Red Bull Arena. RBR was there to cover all the action, and get reaction from several of the luminaries in attendance. Overall, the event was a success, with over 100 people helping celebrate this milestone event. We will have an Red Bulls Insider posted tomorrow, but in the meantime, here is a little tease to whet your appetite.
What do you think? Does this milestone make you believe that this is really happening? This isn’t ground breaking, its the final piece of structural steel!

“What do you think? Does this milestone make you believe that this is really happening? ” Well yeah obviously it is happening, a big ceremony wasn’t needed for me to think that, for the past 8 months i’ve been watching it happen so that was really all i needed. This may not be what everyone wants to hear and maybe it is just my opinion but i really and truly don’t believe a new arena is going to solve this clubs problems. If Red Bull is interested in doing that they should read all the 20 pages of posts on the metrofanatic blogs found here http://www.soccerpubs.com/boards/index.php?showtopic=32940&st=0&start=0 i think it is really important, essentially what u will find at that link is that the clubs most die hard fans nearly wet there selves at the mere thought of red bull jumping ship and leaving town. I think there r better ways to make things better and thats why someone working for red bull should read it and sort their priorities out.

Congratulations Red Bull for showing some REAL dedication and commitment to the team! Amazing.

i’m personally super thankful to Red Bull for this amazing stadium we are going to have because Lord knows if we weren’t fully funded by Red Bull we’d still be sitting in Giants Stadium and probably for much longer. i’m so excited about this stadium and i can’t wait til opening day!
