I’m not sure who they anticipate will come and ask for autographs no one lives in NY that goes to their games so no one is going to the espn zone there to get one, also they sucked it up royally on nationial television, and if those wierd ass kids walking in slow motion and those girls with make up and high pitched voices come by me and start pretending like their gonna charge me i swear to god im gonna break off one of their horns and shuv it where the sun doesn’t shine, start marketing so people will actually go to this shit because as of right now i don’t think anyone besides the 30 people who comment on this site even knows that NY has a soccer team, i’m so fed up with this whole thing and the best part is somehow im going to the home opener next week how does that happen?

I live in Long Island City, Queens and I go to games. I just went to an ESC event in Astoria, Queens with other fans who live there. I know there are other guys who live in Brooklyn and Manhattan. Surprise, there are fans in the city!
There are also 1,000 people who have signed up to be fans on the Facebook site. Have you been on Metrofanatic.com? There are more than 30 people there too.

im on metrofanatic.com i have a username, im on the facebook, im on this site daily, im on soccerbyives and bigapplesoccer daily mostly during school lol. I know all the little things that go on in this club, and i also know that there are way more people busting there ass to get to rbny games from jersey than ny,i never said that people form long island, or queens, or were ever don’t go tot he games that would be rediculous of me to say, i merely said that NJ is an easier area to attract because of it’s location, and because NY sports fans r so hard to persaud, proove me wrong i’d love for this upper management to do so proove that u can succesfully markey ny and get the fans coming out in full strength like they do during barcelona games because if u do that i will gladly eat my words i wud love to be wrong if it meant this club can succed.

umm…I know this is late and all but this event was mentioned earlier…I mean granted it probably only went out to the season ticket holders…it was mention in that new e-newsletter and an email was sent out from fan services mentioning this and some other upcoming events for the week…
but in all fairness…I much rather enjoyed the events they held last year…since they were at a later time and I was able to attend after I got out of work
