Looks like fun. I like the Johnny Toro tribute with the face paint and horns.

what’s with the slow mo walking? i feel like this is confusing to pedestrians.
March 19, 2009 at 12:56 AM |
I like it.
Now get 5 teams of 10 people like this to descend at the exact same time in different parts of Manhattan and it would be effective, make the news, etc.
Good – just expand it

I hope they didnt get paid for this…. wtf is with the slow walking? i dont think that has anything to do about soccer…. just with at greed hood kid in the video he thought it gives u wings and you guys weere promoting the drink…. and also ONE SONG???? come one…. thats sad…. you guys could of asked some of the ESC guys to tag along…. we would of done a way better job then these people….

March 19, 2009 at 1:02 PM |
Saw the bulls in the park last night and honestly at first wasn’t sure people understood what was going on but then guys came and juggled a bit and handed out flyers promoting opening day and events leading up to it they gave out schedules too that were keychains which was cool..let’s go red bullssss

What an idea. Let’s get a bunch of annoying people with really screechy, high voices and have them run around like losers with face paint and horns. And oh yeah let’s copy that video from Grand Central Station and take long dramatic pauses. That’ll work! This only gets the word out that we’re annoying and unoriginal.
I am ashamed to be a fan with garbage like this.

The marketing team should go to seattle and take notes.
March 19, 2009 at 6:48 PM |
Yeah, gotta agrre with the majority here, i dont think that is effective use of marketing resources. A bar owner we have watch parties at called me last night and let me know about this…we shared a long pause. I assured him i had nothing to do with this.
That said, im no marketing major so what do i know.
March 19, 2009 at 7:33 PM |
The BUlls need more interns to do this effectively.. 10, 000 more to be exact… a good start but we need many more…

This brand does not a tradition! no one cares about energy drinks. what makes the red bull organization think that anyone, especially in New York care about a soccer team WITH an energy drink brand as their name. sucks!
Sounders FC, Timbers, Whitecaps, DC United (they sucks wood), Chicago Fire, LA Galaxy…etc all have traditional franchise names that people identify with. RED BULL???? Genious!

I would like to see a “The world of Red Bull” ad with maybe Juan Pablo Angel. RBNY Marketing team I hope you’re reading, cause this ones a freebie
intro with quick cuts of JPA taking care of business, cut to JPA walking down hallway of the new arena while hearing a faint murmur of fans, back to more action except this time it’s extreme close ups of the players so you don’t really know what’s going on other than an intense game going on. cut back to JPA nearing the entrance at midfield while hearing a voiceover saying something about for the love of the game, city, fans, etc… zoom out to reveal the new RBA PACKED to capacity, lights shining, streamers flying, flags waving. JPA, “The world of Red Bull” or “The world of Red Bull New York”

What did New York soccer fans do to deserve Red Bull ?
March 20, 2009 at 4:32 PM |
Remember MPF? Metro Playoff FAILURE!
March 20, 2009 at 5:27 PM |
Wow, RBNY sucks at everything, including marketing.
March 22, 2009 at 2:32 PM |
Wow, did a 12 year old come up this idea? I feel embarrassed for Energy Drink fans, and I can’t stand your team. Makes your team look like a joke.
How much did these broadway rejects get paid?
March 22, 2009 at 5:11 PM |
Seems that people at NY Energy Drink are out of ideas…
March 22, 2009 at 6:15 PM |
Supporters on payroll. Wow, somebody want to buy ownership a clue?

March 23, 2009 at 5:13 PM |
This would make me not want to go to a game if I was considering it. Pathetic marketing.
March 28, 2009 at 3:03 PM |
