The team attended the River Plate v. Banfield match Sunday night, and the visit was the first to El Monumental for Juan Pablo Angel since leaving the club nearly nine years ago. He shared some time with RBR before and after the match to describe his feelings on coming back to the place where he made a name for himself internationally.
As we spend more time here in Argentina, we will be providing regular updates with JPA on his return to Argentina and his training with the Red Bulls this preseason.

Gentlemen and Ladies, check that out! That is the hidden gem that is Argie football! Every home match, whether against the lowliest opponent or the crosstown rivals, is greeted with a chanting crowd of absolute maniac fanatics.
One of my life long dreams is to catch a River/Boca game in the Bombonera. I have to be there. I need to see THAT.
