Some news to report on the team’s off-day.
- Midfielder Jorge Rojas was called up to the Venezuelan National Team for their friendly against Guatemala in Maturin, Venezuela on Wednesday, Feb. 11. Rojas, the Venezuelan captain, left the team today.
- Andrew Boyens joined the squad late last week and will start working out this week. Boyens underwent forearm surgery on Jan. 28 and was set to miss a month.
- Some of the players who did not play in Saturday’s scrimmage against the Wizards trained lightly this morning.
- Midfielder Dane Richards is still with the team awaiting visa confirmation for his trip with the Jamaican National Team to London. We’ll keep you posted on any further developments.
