PHOTOS FROM RED BULL ARENA: SEPT. 9

By Red Bulls Reader

(The start of the lower bowl)

As promised, RBR headed over to the Red Bull Arena construction site to help facilitate an MSG update that will air during Saturday’s match with Real Salt Lake (TICKETS!!!!), and came back with some photos.  Not much was going on at the site when we got there, as its not wise to work with giant steel girders during a lightning storm (though RBR braved the elements for our loyal readers).  As reported earlier today, the 275 ton crawler crane has begun to erect the structural steel that supports the concourse and lower seating bowl of the stadium.  We also noticed that the web cam wasn’t providing the ideal angle for viewing the entire site, so we made a slight adjustment to get all the progress on screen.  Hope you like the (slight) improvement.
