Sorry for the delay on these, but yesterday was a busy day for RBR, as we scurried about to two different events on Tuesday, one of which was the Red Bull Arena event. The other will receive a post later today. The photos include shots of the first steel going in, some politicians that helped make the day possible, as well as a group of long tenured New York employees that were invited to be included in the event due to their loyalty to the organization and their hard work and dedication to the team.
In any event, we wanted to share from photos from yesterday’s event, and to answer the current $10,000 question: What’s the deal with the webcam?
Well, RBR can tell you that the webcam will be returning to action in the very near future. Once Red Bull took over the project in its entirety, securing the former webcam from the former management group took some wrangling. Now that that hurdle has been cleared, the final preparations for the new, improved webcam (with something more to look at than an empty lot and passing traffic) will be live soon. RBR can’t provide an exact date at this time, but 60 to 90 days is not our answer.
Also, a new website will be launched in the near future for Red Bull Arena. In the meantime, the holding page is now active at RedBullArena.us.
