If you were lucky enough to be at the Red Bulls vs. FC Barcelona match, you saw the club honor former captain Claudio Reyna, who retired from professional soccer in July. Unless you were at the concessions stand or the restroom, you also saw the video tribute that was played on the jumboton. It was very well put together and RBR really liked the old footage of Claudio (he had FANTASTIC hair back in the day – we wonder when THAT style will resurface) as well as the Coldplay tune (which SHOULD have been the theme to Euro 2008).
In any case, if you already saw it, here it is again. But if you didn’t, take a look, its worth it.

Thanks for the great memories. I’m glad Claudio returned to the US to finish out his career. I have enjoyed watching him work his magic at the Red Bulls games. It was unfortunate that the injury had to spoil the party at the end.
