The New York Red Bulls broke open a match that was scoreless at the half with four unanswered tallies in the second half coast past the Fort Lauderdale Rebels, 4-0, this afternoon in Fort Lauderdale. The Red Bulls stretch their preseason record to 5-0-3 with the win.

RED BULLS VS. FT. LAUDERDALE REBELS: MATCH DAY

The Red Bulls continue their preseason in Ft. Lauderdale, FL this week, and play their next friendly match today at 3:30 PM against the Ft. Lauderdale Rebels.  New York is currently 4-0-3 in the preseason, and will also take on Miami FC on Friday at 11:30 AM before returning north to watch the Red Bull Arena Soft Opening on Saturday, March 13, which will feature the U18 Red Bull Academy team and the U17 US Men’s National Team.

11′ Dane with a breakaway as he splits two defenders, but the keeper comes out to stop the threat.

19’ Kandji with a dangerous cross that finds Agudelo in the area.  His attempt to the lower right corner is saved by the keeper.

30’ A handball leads to a free kick for NY.  Robinson plays it short for Richards, who shoots from outside the box, but its blocked by a defender.

32′ Ft. Lauderdale earns a corner, but its headed clear by Robinson.

42’ Yellow to FTR’s Pierre for foul on Agudelo, thwarting a breakaway up the right side.

61’ Oebster puts in a cross that the keeper punches out before it can connect with Wolyniec.

65’ GOAL NY!  Sassano with a blast from outside the 18 that beats the keeper to the upper 90. 1-0 NY!

67’ Innocen gives a go on a restart, but its over the top of the goal.

72’ GOAL NY!  Tony Tchani finds the back of the net to make it 2-0 NY.

75’ GOAL NY!  This time its Wolyniec as the Red Bull take full control of the match.

INDIVIDUAL MATCH TICKETS FOR FIRST HALF OF SEASON GO ON SALE MARCH 12

Red Bull New York announced today that family packs and individual tickets for the first half of the Red Bulls’ MLS regular season schedule at Red Bull Arena will go on sale to the general public starting Friday, March 12 at 10:00 AM.

In addition, Full Season Ticket Holders will get an exclusive presale window starting on Wednesday, March 10 at 10:00 AM to purchase ticket add-ons for the rest of the regular season. Eight and Four-Game Plan Holders may begin buying ticket add-ons for the first half of the home schedule starting on Thursday, March 11 at 10:00 AM.

Fans can purchase tickets by calling the Red Bulls at 1.877.RBSOCCER or logging onto www.newyorkredbulls.com.

The seven games that will go on sale include New York’s matches against FC Dallas (April 17, 7:30 PM), Philadelphia Union (April 24, 4:00 PM), Seattle Sounders FC (May 15, 7:30 PM), the Columbus Crew (May 20, 8:00 PM), the Houston Dynamo (June 2, 7:30 PM), CD Chivas USA (June 5, 7:30 PM), and D.C. United (July 10, 7:30 PM). Limited tickets are still available for the Red Bulls’ Grand Opening on March 20 against Santos FC at 6:00 PM (TV: MSG) and the MLS home opener versus the Chicago Fire on March 27 at 7:00 PM (TV: ESPN, ESPN Deportes).

WATCH MLS FIRST KICK AT ZEPPELIN HALL

Join your new 2010 New York Red Bulls on Thursday, March 25 at Zeppelin Hall in Jersey City to watch the 2010 Major League Soccer First Kick between Seattle Sounders FC and Philadelphia Union. Get a chance to watch the game and meet your New York Red Bulls team. The match starts at 9:30 p.m. and event doors will open at 9:00 p.m. All guests must be 21+.

The cost for the event is $25 for those who pre-register. A limited amount of tickets will be available at the door for $35. Each ticket includes a two hour open bar (9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.) and a chance to win various raffle items.

All proceeds from the event will benefit Red Bull New York midfielder Seth Stammler’s Sporting Chance Foundation.
